Students in this online Master of Science in Nursing — Family Nurse Practitioner option will be prepared to provide a holistic approach to primary care of individuals and families of all ages and to manage a wide variety of acute and chronic health problems.

Admission requirements According to Gonzaga University, to be eligible for admission to the FNP program, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with an unencumbered RN license from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program.
  • Completed online application.
  • Submit one official transcript from each college or university attended.
  • Two letters of recommendation.
  • Statement of purpose.
  • MAT or GRE waived if applicant has a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (required if GPA is below 3.0).
  • Current resume or professional curriculum vitae.
  • Current registered nurse license.
